There are so many beautiful and unique travel destinations around the world, and if you are anything like us – choosing your next travel destination is often one of the hardest parts of booking a vacation.
We have been to quite a few places and still struggle to figure out where to go next, so we are hoping that this list of our top 5 favorite travel destinations may help you choose your next destination. These are all places we have been, and that we would visit over and over again because they were just that amazing!

Zion National Park in Utah & Antelope Canyon in Arizona

Zion National Park:

Located in Southwestern Utah is one of our favorite of America’s National Parks. This stunning park is known for its massive red sandstone cliffs and deep canyons carved by the Virgin River. Whether you enjoy a quick easy hike like the Canyon Overlook Trail, or strenuous hikes like the Angels Landing, you won’t be disappointed with your stay in Zion National Park. We spent 2 days exploring this park early on in our relationship (way before we became travel bloggers) and can’t wait to go back to see it again – and hopefully capture better photos!

Antelope Canyon

If you are interested in adding an additional day to your Zion trip, we highly recommend also visiting Page, Arizona to see the Antelope Canyon. Make sure to book a tour for this!

Rome & Florence Italy

If traveling to Europe is more your style, we can’t recommend a trip to Rome and Florence enough! We spent 6 days exploring these two cities and absolutely fell in love! From the Italian food to the historic architecture, you really feel like you stepped into another lifetime when visiting Italy.

Banff National Park, the Icefields Parkway, and Jasper National Park

If you are a lover of the outdoors like us, then visiting the Rocky Mountains in Alberta Canada is a must visit destination. Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest National Park – and its beauty speaks for itself! With towering mountains, turquoise blue lakes, stunning mountain towns, wildlife, and scenery all around – what more could you want from an adventurous vacation destination? If you have the time, we highly recommend also spending a day driving the Icefields Parkway which connects Banff and Jasper National Park. It’s considered one of the most scenic drives in North America! Then of course, after driving the Icefields Parkway, you then need to explore Jasper National Park as well!

Telluride & Ouray Colorado

We may be biased as Colorado is our home state, but we live here for a reason! There are so many beautiful spots in Colorado to explore, but by far our favorite area to explore has been the Telluride & Ouray area. We spent a long weekend here, camping, staying in a super cute Airbnb in Downtown Telluride, and renting a jeep to do some off-roading including driving the Ophir Pass! If you enjoy stunning mountain views and adventures that get your heart rate up, then a visit to Telluride is a must! We also highly recommend renting a jeep for a self guided tour of the San Juan Mountains, or getting a guided tour to take you up some of these epic mountain roads!

Pacific Northwest

Primarily covering Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, the Pacific Northwest (PNW) is one of the United States most diverse and dramatic landscapes. All within a close range, the PNW has rocky coastlines, volcanic mountain ranges, high-desert plains, and a temperate rainforest! We spent 10 days exploring the PNW visiting Seattle, Washington, Mt Rainier National Park, the North Cascades National Park, Olympic National Park, Portland, Oregon, and so many places in between! We visited during the rainy fall season so the waterfalls were stunning during our visit – but a summer trip would also allow for epic mountain hikes! Regardless of what time of year you choose to visit, you won’t be disappointed.
